Wow. Can you say, industrial design at its finest? Not sure how exactly these little guys hold on over a major pothole, but seems like a fun idea. Read the article on DesignSponge! And check out other wearable planters, by none other than, Wearable Planters on Etsy!

Follow AJS on Behance! And if you feel so inclined, "appreciate" projects. FYI, profile is still in the making.
Our team at Stone Table is embarking on a few new design adventures. Be sure to check them out on stonetabledesign.com.
Here's a quick overview of some in-progress projects:
Blogworthy - a site dedicated to helping bloggers find content and artists make a living! Basically, bloggers pay a small fee to find awesome content submitted directly by artists, musicians, writers, etc.
Forrage - a site run specifically by trade! Trading items for items in an awesome marketplace. Forrage was designed to run consumerism into the ground.
cucune - a site designed to bring living-space updates to you. Think Blog Lovin' or Tumblr but for real estate and rentals.

Have you heard of Punchfork? A new foodie website on the rise where people can share recipes and such. Sounds like something you've seen before? Guess again. Punchfork advertises its recipes visually. So all you visual folk out there like me can have the time of your life scrolling endless pages of fabulously photographed foods. They've also got an incredible knack for design. They're our next "Facebook of food". Mark my word.
Like what you see? View more of my food photos here.

There comes a moment, after an eventfully, stressful few months, where things just pause. You summit a mountain, catch your breath, but acknowledge your obligatory climb down. Cheers to these interludes for keeping us sane and motivated.

Follow this blog with Bloglovin.
Keep up with new artwork and design. And, of course, things I find truly amazing and/or inspiring - or just have something to talk about.

I'm lying. This photo was actually taken in Seattle when I was home for the holidays. However, we're actually getting some percipitation out here in SLC as well. And not the snowy kind. What a strange winter! Here's to wet sidewalks and misty morning tea breaks.

If you're not familiar with photoshop actions, they're a fantastic way to get some bang out of your photos without having to know too much about the program. It's like adding a customized filter to any photo.
I'm constantly trying to find new and interesting ways to post-process. If you are too, check out the actions I've designed in my etsy shop, Feathered.

Perhaps too many worlds. Or too specific of worlds.
We are designers. We cannot read minds. And most likely, we won't be able to re-create the intricate and precise nature in which your world exists. Be overtly clear in your agenda and we will do our best to fabricate that which cannot be tangibly extracted. Thank you.

I can't complain, when the last few weeks have brought about some amazingly, awesome work environments. Yes, most of my time is spent glued to a computer screen, but it's fantastic when new projects call you away from such routinized work conditions. Another pre-shoot image for our winter fashion photo shoot. Trudging away though knee-deep snow, searching for the ideal backdrop setting.

Stone Table business partner, Phil, and I ventured to Heber, Utah, this weekend to do a snowy fashion photo shoot. Can you say, too much snow? Due to the incredible amounts of snow we were receiving, Saturday's shoot had to be pushed to the evening. Without much time for adjustments, we spent an hour or so, shuffling through knee deep snow to get everything setup without so much as one decent shot.
Thanks to our fantastic model and friend, Lucy, however, we were able to reschedule the shoot for the next afternoon. Unfortunately, we were again snuffed by the weather gods, as blizzard turned blue, and we fell victim to intensely harsh sunlight. We would have to push the shoot back, yet again, in hopes for much more even evening light.
It worked! Finally, once the sun set behind the aspen groves, we were able to capture a number of fantastic shots. More photos to come.
